Parent to Parent Network: As soon as the USOD is made aware of a family having a baby with Down syndrome, a prenatal diagnosis or moving into the area, a parent from our network can contact the family to offer support, friendship, books and information on how to connect with the USOD and other local resources. One of our missions at the USOD is to provide one on one support to new families that have just received a diagnosis of Down syndrome, we can provide this in many different ways, whatever that family is comfortable with.
