Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio
The Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio (DSACO) is a network of individuals with Down syndrome, parents, volunteers, and health care providers. We care deeply for those diagnosed with it, and provide information, support and assistance to individuals and families living with Down syndrome in 15 Ohio counties.
Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence
Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI) serves families, educators, and professionals working with students with autism and low-incidence disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, multiple disabilities, orthopedic impairments, other health impairments, and traumatic brain injuries. Based on a respect for individuals with autism and low incidence disabilities and our belief in their right, need, and desire to achieve their full potential, OCALI's mission is to build state- and system-wide capacity to improve their outcomes through leadership, training and professional development, technical assistance, collaboration, and technology. Further, we believe that families, as well as professionals, play a critical role in promoting the highest possible achievement of each child. To that end, we see connection and partnership with families as vital to the success of each individual at school and in the community.

Ohio Golden Buckeye Card is honored at more than 19,000 businesses statewide. Cardholders are also eligible for the free Golden Buckeye Prescription Drug Savings Program, which provides significant savings on medicines at most Ohio pharmacies. You're eligible for a free Golden Buckeye card if you are age 60 or better, or are age 18 - 59 and have a Medicare-certified disability.

The Ohio Legal Rights Service (OLRS) is an independent state agency and the federally and state designated Protection and Advocacy system and Client Assistance Program for people with disabilities in the State of Ohio. The mission of OLRS is to protect and advocate, in partnership with people with disabilities, for their human, civil and legal rights.

The mission of the Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission is to work in partnership with people with disabilities to assist them in achieving greater community participation through opportunities for employment and independence.
Special Olympics
The mission of the Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for individuals with mental retardation by giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
