Ohio Protection & Advocacy Association is a private, non-profit organization. Established in 1977 to protect and advocate for person with Developmental Disabilities who reside in Ohio. Ohio Protection & Advocacy Association is concerned about Identification, Education, Job Training Vocational Placement, Socialization, Independent Living Housing, and all legally defined rights of persons with Developmental Disabilities, without regard to race, creed, color, sex, national origin, or financial status.
Partners in Policymaking
Since 1987, Partners programs have been implemented nationally and internationally. More than 15,000 Partners graduates are part of a growing national and international network of community leaders serving on policy making committees, commissions, and boards at all levels of government.
