The Great Lakes ADA & IT Center provides technical assistance and training to businesses and people with disabilities regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA).?It serves the states of Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Inclusive Schools Network
The Inclusive Schools Network (ISN) is a web-based resource for families, schools and communities that promotes inclusive educational practices. This resource has grown out of Inclusive Schools Week™, an internationally-recognized annual event sponsored by Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC). ISN’s mission is “to encourage, embolden and empower people to design and implement effective inclusive schools, by sharing insights and best practices and by providing opportunities for connection.” ISN provides year-round opportunities for families and educators around the world to network and build their knowledge of inclusive education.
National Center on Secondary Education and Transition (...
The National Center on Secondary Education and Transition (NCSET) coordinates national resources, offers technical assistance, and disseminates information related to secondary education and transition for youth with disabilities in order to create opportunities for youth to achieve successful futures.
Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council (ODDC)
The Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council (ODDC) is a planning and advocacy body committed to community inclusion for people with developmental disabilities.
Project Participate
Project Participate provides families, educators, administrators and therapists with simple strategies to increase the active participation of students with disabilities in school programs. Supported by a U.S. Department of Education grant (H324M980258), Project Participate facilitates team collaboration and promotes the appropriate uses of technology in the classroom.
The Peal Center
The work of the PEAL Center reflects a resounding call to parents, professionals and persons living with disabilities to join in celebrating our common bonds and to be the collective voice that reverberates in our communities. The PEAL Center serves families of children with disabilities and special health care needs providing information and training in Western and Central Pennsylvania and on health care needs statewide.
The PREP Program
The PREP Program is a school and resource centre serving individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and their educators. The primary "raison d'etre" is the provision of affordable speech-language therapy services to children ages 12 months to 18 years. PREP's mandate has expanded over the years to encompass a spectrum of support services for successful inclusion of children with Down syndrome in their home, school and community life.
